Transparency International Hungary (TI-Hungary) is recruiting a full-time Project Assistant. Main function is to assist colleagues in various projects as well as manage and oversee the organisation’s administration. The position provides an opportunity to become a project manager in the future.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Assist project managers in various project related tasks, including:
- coordinate and organize events (trainings, workshops, conferences)
- carry out people engagement and advocacy activities
- participate in data gathering and analysis
- participate in research activities
- assist in project reporting and general administration
- Assist the organization’s volunteer management and coordination
- Assist the organisation’s financial administration
- Coordinate TI Hungary’s relations with stakeholders
- Manage the office’s everyday supplies
Starting date: as soon as possible
Duration: Indefinite duration
Requirements from the candidate:
- Has a higher education degree
- Has minimum three years’ related work experience
- Has excellent administrative and background management skills which include, among others, organisation abilities, team-working, time management and the capability to contribute to the work of others in implementing multifaceted projects
- Has good networking and communication capacities
- Capable to work independently
- Is ready to continuously keep contact with a diversity of different stakeholders and to assist the work of other colleagues who manage large projects
- Is fluent in Hungarian and in English (spoken, written)
- Has good writing skills (e.g., to formulate letters)
- Is committed to TI-Hungary’s mission and principles
- Has working knowledge of basic IT skills: MS Office (word, excel, power point), social media
- Is open to new challenges and ready to learn
