Today Zoltan Nagy, President of GVH (Competition Office) has handed over this year’s prizes ’For the Culture of Competition’ and ’For the Culture of Competition Media’ both established by the GVH Center for the Culture of Competition. The prize ’For the Culture of Competition is given to those experts active outside the Competition Office who do the most for the Culture of Competition in Hungary. This year it was assigned to Noémi Alexa, executive director of Transparency International Hungary. According to GVH Ms Noémi Alexa with her brave step called the Prime Minister’s as well as the public’s attention to the fact that one of the Minister candidates managed a company previously legally condemned. With this action of hers she gave a perfect example of how competition should be kept clean and transparent.
The prize ’For the Culture of Competition Media’ was handed over to the Editorial Team of InfoRadio.
Special guest of the ceremony was His Excellency, Gregory John Dorey, Ambassador of Great Britain who delivered a speech on the occasion and mentioned that Hungary will only benefit from the spread of the clear competition. „The Embassy of Great Britain does its best to support this positive procedure.” he added.
