Nursery Reconstruction in the 13th District of Budapest

blank

Since the 13th district of Budapest is devoted to integrity and transparency, it is first to use the anti-corruption tool developed by TI Hungary, called the Integrity Pact (IP). The IP is used to monitor the local government’s self-funded construction investments.

Under these investments, the local government of the 13th district plans to spend 550 million Forints in order to modernize the mechanical and electrical system of the nursery’s building.  The investment includes the transformation of interiors, the insulation of the frontage by replacing the windows, insulation and static strengthening of the flat roof, as well as the renovation of the playground and its equipment.

The Integrity Agreement between the local government and TI Hungary was signed in April 2013. The bidders of the procedure join the agreement with a statement as part of the offer that they submit during the public procurement procedure. The signatories assume responsibility that they will pursue an honest attitude during the procedure. TI Hungary will monitor all phases of the planning and the implementation involving the public as well.

If you happen to observe any problem with the cleanness of the procedure, please turn to the colleague of Transparency International at the following address:
